    Cavity pressure sensors are designed to fit in varied situations and molding environments.

    • Button-style sensors measure pressure indirectly via force applied by ejector pins
    • Flush-mount sensors come into contact with the plastic, directly measuring pressure in the mold

    A piezoelectric sensor is a device that uses the piezoelectric effect to measure pressure, acceleration, strain and force by converting them to an electrical signal.

    A strain gage takes advantage of the physical property of electrical conductance's dependence on not merely the electrical conductivity of a conductor, which is a property of its material, but also the conductor's geometry.
