The Lynx Sensor Installation Kit can ensure correct installation of 1/2" button style sensors and proper functioning of cavity pressure sensors. Taking a few seconds to verify correct installation of sensors eliminates the headaches, cost and down time associated with discovering sensor damage or installation mistakes on the shop floor.

4mm Flush Mount Sensor Install Kit

RJG’s Flush Mount Sensor Installation/Check Kit contains the tools and documentation to install and check dimensions of the pockets for 4mm Piezoelectric Flush Mount style cavity pressure sensors. RJG is currently working on a 2.5mm kit to be released in the near future. Sensor accuracy is dependent on proper installation of the sensor. If a sensor doesn’t fit correctly or the bore is not concentric it can cause preload on the sensor and inaccurate readings.

RJG designed this new kit as a tool to ensure proper installation of flush mount sensors. Included with the kit are a 4mm pocket form tool for drilling all three critical dimensions of the sensor pocket in one pass, a retaining nut thread tap, a 4mm Go No-Go gage for instantly checking the pocket, and a concentricity checker and test block to verify dimensions.
