Gary brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with him to RJG. He began his career as a tool-maker in 1981. He came to RJG from Hobbs Corporation where he was responsible for production tooling as well as determining in-plant specifications. In addition to designing tools for Hobbs Corporation, he designed tooling for vendors. He was responsible for validating and purchasing new automation equipment. As well as for training all the employees in the tool room. He has written training manuals and operating procedures for all the equipment he was responsible for. Gary has had extensive training in machining and failure mode and effect analysis. He has done mold and machine try-outs for tool builders. He is a Six Sigma Green Belt and has spent time in Japan studying and training to be a trainer in Japanese style management. He has been responsible for three start ups at new facilities, where he over saw the planning and implementation fazes of their start-up. A Master MolderSM graduate, Gary is familiar with RJG technology and methodology. With more than 20 years of tooling, processing and management experience, Gary is a welcome addition to our Consulting Team. Gary's duties as a consultant at RJG are to teach all of the training courses offered at RJG, as well as doing in-plant evaluations and working with customers to set-up realistic training programs for their staff. In addition he has updated and co-written some of the course materials for RJG. What some of Gary's students had to say about their training:"I wanted to let you know that the response from the training was very, very positive. The guys on the floor who had lost their enthusiasm for injection molding have definitely regained it. I'm sure that your training will be seen as one of the most important events in our continued efforts to optimize our molding operations. Thanks again." Doug Ritchie | Methode Electronics, Inc."This course gives us all the opportunity to rethink the way we have been taught to process and gives us a better understanding of our industries growth potential." Dan Belden | Nibco"Great course. I do not understand how you can mold today without this type of training. We, as a company, feel excited again to solve problems and implement new processes." Harry Soling | Winzeler Gear"The RJG company training is of the highest caliber I have had the opportunity to take. I can't see how any molder could survive in today's industry without this knowledge." Rodney Aker | Midwest Tool & Die"RJG is excellent for de-mystifying processing and proving concepts – other courses don't attempt to back up their teachings with science or fact like RJG does." He travels extensively to conduct in-plant consultations in the USA and internationally, primarily in the Asia Pacific region. What some of Pat's students had to say about their training:"Very professional and organized class - Teaches state of the art processing techniques. A must have course for molders wishing to learn advanced molding." Bobby Pearson | GW Plastics, Inc.
"The materials presented are excellent and are not commonly in practice, understood, or taught on the production floor. The knowledge gained will be very valuable in improving processes and plant efficiencies." Michael J. Seay | Cadillac Engineered Plastics
"The course gives you a very streamlined and highly efficient method to establish a robust process for most tools in your shop. The tool, press, process and material all have to work together to make a good part. If one fails, you make a lot of scrap. Master Molder provides the tools to identify when one of the four goes awry." Steve Schaffer | Orbis
"This course should be a standard for all molders. RJG is the way to go…we need it to survive in the global economy." Norman Carrier | Owins-Brockway | | Close |
